Upon Registering or Transferring-In your .XXX domain name, the system will submit the Registrant's full name and email address as recorded in the Contact database to the .XXX Registry, so that the Registry may contact the Registrant to self-certify (Anchor: certify) as a Member of the adult-community.
If the Registrant does not receive this email within 6 hours, on the email address visible in the system's Contact database, she/he may request the Registry to resend this email.
If the Registrant submitted an incorrect email address or changes the email address since Registering or Transferring-In the domain name, you can get in touch with us so that we can help you submit the details to the registry.
Upon becoming a Member of the .XXX Adult Community, you will be provided a Membership Token/ID by the .XXX Registry. You need to submit this within your Control Panel to enable resolution of your .XXX domain name. Follow this process to either associate/disassociate (Anchor: assoc) a Membership Token/ID with your domain name:
- Login to your Control Panel.
- Search for the domain name and proceed to the Order Information view.
- Under Domain Registration, click the Membership Details link.
- Besides Membership ID mention the Membership Token/ID provided by the .XXX Registry, to associate it to your domain name.
- To disassociate a domain name with a Membership Token/ID, simply remove all details from this field.
- Click the Update Membership Token button to submit your details.
It is not mandatory to self-certify as a Member of the adult-community with the .XXX Registry. However, if you do not complete this validation, .XXX Registry would not allow your domain name to resolve.
